Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our surgical engraving process and custom ordering in Northern Michigan.

How permanent is the laser engraving?

Unlike vinyl stickers or screen printing, laser engraving is permanent. We use a high-powered laser beam to physically remove material or alter the surface of the item. It will not fade, peel, or crack—your design is there for the life of the product.

Can I provide my own logo for an order?

Yes! We specialize in custom corporate branding and individual designs. For the best results, we prefer vector files (.SVG), but we can often work with high-resolution .PNG or .JPG files. If your logo needs a "cleanup" for the laser, we can help with that too.

Where is Bourbon Mountain Productions based?

We are located in Northern Michigan near Atlanta. Every item in our shop is engraved and hand-inspected right here in our workshop to ensure surgical precision before it ships to you.

What is your typical turnaround time?

For individual orders, we typically ship within one week. For bulk or corporate orders, the timeline depends on the quantity, but we pride ourselves on having one of the fastest fulfillment rates in the industry.

Do you offer digital proofs?

Absolutely. For all custom and bulk orders, we provide a digital mockup for your approval. We do not start the engraving process until you have confirmed that the design is exactly what you envision.

How do I care for my engraved items?

Our stainless steel drinkware is generally top-rack dishwasher safe, though hand-washing is always recommended to preserve the vacuum seal. For leatherette and wood items, we recommend wiping with a damp cloth. Wood cutting boards should be seasoned with food-grade mineral oil periodically.
